Cricket South Africa announces partnership extension with KFC

As per the extension, KFC will be retaining its title sponsorship rights for the next international series as well as continue to support the CSA grassroots initiative.

The apex cricket controlling body in South Africa, Cricket South Africa (CSA) has announced a partnership extension with the multinational fast food chain company, KFC.

As per the extension, KFC will be retaining its title sponsorship rights for the next international series in the country and will also continue to support the CSA grassroots initiative.

Since the partnership’s inception in 2012, KFC Africa has sponsored both the T20I matches played by the CSA teams and its Mini-Cricket project, which is referred to as the “largest grassroots sports development initiative” in the country. 

Pholetsi Moseki, Chief Executive, Cricket South Africa, said, “KFC continues to be CSA’s valued partner. We both share in the commitment to grow cricket from the ground up. We have together, over the years, ensured that cricket is introduced in communities and scaled in growth. This has assured a continuous pipeline of talent that we can today boast of. It is through this partnership that we can realize our quest to take cricket to the furthest corners of this country. We thank KFC for its continued support and look forward to success in the journey ahead”.

The fast food chain is famous for its non-veg and meat-oriented fast food delicacies which are popular among the people in every corner of the world.
