Zuno General Insurance becomes official insurance partner of WPL team Royal Challengers Bangalore

The partnership has been inked for the ongoing inaugural edition of the WPL.

Zuno General Insurance, formerly known as Edelweiss General Insurance, has unveiled its association with the Women’s Premier League (WPL) team, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).

The partnership has been inked for the ongoing inaugural edition of the WPL with Zuno General Insurance being the team’s official insurance partner.

Commenting on the partnership, Shanai Ghosh, MD & CEO, Zuno General Insurance, said, “We are thrilled to partner with the Royal Challengers Bangalore team. At Zuno GI, we love to support new thinking and new ideas – the WPL is a great new platform for women’s cricket in India and will definitely take it to new heights. Wishing the RCB team a successful Women’s T20 campaign.”

Speaking on the occasion, Rajesh Menon, Head & Vice President of Royal Challengers Bangalore, said, “We are glad to partner with Zuno General Insurance on the inaugural WPL season and we look forward to exploring synergies between both our brands and looking at a long-term view on the association.”

Prior to this development, RCB also joined hands with Puma, Kajaria, Dream11, Mia by Tanishq, Vega Beauty, Himalaya Face Care and Tata Capital.

The star-studded lineup of RCB consists of players like Smriti Mandhana, Ellyse Perry, Sophie Devine, Renuka Singh, and many more.

The Mandhana-led side is having a disastrous season so far, as the team lost its first three fixtures. RCB will be next seen in action tomorrow against UP Warriorz (UPW).
