Zee Media Corporation Limited (ZMCL), one of India’s leading mass media and news broadcasting companies, has officially entered the world of competitive gaming with the launch of its first-ever Esports tournament, Arena of Champions.

The landmark initiative marks a major step in Zee Media’s digital transformation journey, underscoring its ambition to connect with younger audiences through innovation and immersive entertainment.

Designed to engage India’s Gen Z and millennial communities, Arena of Champions aims to bridge the gap between mainstream media and the rapidly evolving Esports ecosystem. The tournament will provide aspiring gamers across the country with a platform to compete, collaborate, and showcase their skills on a national stage.

Zee Media has partnered with Glazer Labs as its official execution partner and Thryl as the registration platform. The competition carries a prize pool of INR 10 lakh, with registrations opening on November 3, 2025.

Speaking on the launch, Priyadarshan Garg, Chief Business Officer, Indiadotcom Digital Private Limited, a Zee Media company, said, “Today’s youth are active participants in digital culture, shaping communities through gaming, streaming, and interactive engagement.
