Yuva Kabaddi Series has inked a new sponsorship deal with Veera, India’s first mobile-only internet browser.
The company has been named the competition’s secure browsing partner as part of the agreement. This partnership demonstrates Veera’s dedication to improving the digital experience for Indian people.
The Yuva Kabaddi Series, which debuted in 2022, has established itself as a cornerstone in moulding the next generation of Kabaddi in India. Of particular note, eight of the 12 players who recently contributed to India’s spectacular win in the Junior Kabaddi World Cup refined their playing skills via the Yuva Kabaddi Series program. Veera India recognizes the tournament’s critical role in fostering and refining budding Kabaddi stars.
Arjun Ghose, Founder, Veera, said, “We are thrilled to support the Yuva Kabaddi Series 2023, which serves as a platform for nurturing young talent and promoting Kabaddi across India. Our sponsorship not only reaffirms our commitment to Indian sports but also signifies our dedication to advancing technology in the country. We are delighted to introduce our innovative mobile-only browser to the Kabaddi community and a broader audience.”
Adityan Kayalakal, Head of Marketing at Veera, said, “Veera, being a brand that has just launched in India with a key feature of ad-blocking, finds a perfect synergy with the sport of Kabaddi, known for its ‘block’ move. Our browser’s ability to block all third-party ads resonates with one of the major maneuvers in Kabaddi. Super excited to partner with YKS and we look forward to a great tournament.”
Suhail Chandok, Co-founder of Yuva Kabaddi Series, said, “We are delighted to welcome Veera as a Sponsor for this year’s monsoon edition of Yuva Kabaddi Series. Veera’s innovative mobile-only browser aligns perfectly with our commitment to embracing cutting-edge technology in sports. With their support, we aim to reach new heights in nurturing Kabaddi talent and promoting the sport across India. We look forward to a great collaboration and an outstanding tournament.”
Before this deal, the league also onboarded the leading auto tech company, CARS24 as the title sponsor for the monsoon edition.
