The Yorkshire County Cricket Club (YCCC) has developed a partnership with the Leeds-based commercial interior design consultancy, Design Tonic.

With this deal, the brand has been named the first official partner for YCCC Women’s Team, Yorkshire Women. The collaboration comes as Yorkshire Women prepare to launch their professional women’s cricket season with a training tour and participation in the Women’s T20 Counties Super Cup in Abu Dhabi.

As the team’s official partner, Design Tonic’s logo will appear on the back of all Yorkshire Women’s playing shirts in 2025, demonstrating its commitment to the growth of women’s cricket in Yorkshire.

Design Tonic director, Amanda Cook, said, “It is a privilege to support Yorkshire Women and be the first ever official kit sponsor for the team as they embark their very first season. As a business we are passionate about sport and our beloved home county of Yorkshire so it’s wonderful to be able to combine both of these loves and get behind Yorkshire Women at YCCC in this way. We are delighted to have been a Club Partner at YCCC for the last five years and we are looking forward to further building on that relationship and wish Yorkshire Women a fantastic season ahead.”

Design Tonic has been a club partner of YCCC since 2020, during which time it has collaborated with YCCC to complete various design projects at Headingley Cricket Ground, notably the restoration of the Players Lounge, the Long Room, and the Hawke Suite.

Business Development Manager at Yorkshire CCC, Tom Webster, said, “We are thrilled to see Design Tonic extend their partnership with us. This year is incredibly important for the development of women’s cricket in Yorkshire and Design Tonic’s support in this space will certainly contribute to its continued growth.”

Partnerships Services Manager at Yorkshire CCC, Kayleigh Hallas, said, “To see our partnership develop in the way it has with Design Tonic over the course of five years has been incredibly rewarding. It’s a great example of a local business who are happy to support the Club at what is an exciting juncture for the game across Yorkshire. Everyone at Yorkshire Cricket is delighted with the news and we’re looking forward to the future of women’s cricket with them alongside.”
