WWE Raw records 4.9 million views globally on Netflix debut

The debut event on Netflix averaged 2.6 million households (Live+SD) in the US, which is 116% higher than RAW's average US audience of 1.2 million households in 2024.

Netflix, a global streaming service, and the professional wrestling promotion, World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), revealed that the premiere episode of RAW on Netflix got off to a solid start, with the Monday night program receiving 4.9 million views globally.

Moreover, the debut event on Netflix averaged 2.6 million households (Live+SD) in the US, which is 116% higher than RAW’s average US audience of 1.2 million households in 2024, as well as greater than any other Monday Night RAW broadcast in the previous five years. The event also more than quadrupled the A18-49 viewership compared to the previous year.

As soon as the show began, ‘#WWERaw’ became the top trending topic in the United States, Brazil, Australia, and the United Kingdom. In the UK, ‘#WWERaw’ trended at #1 for 14 hours straight, while in the US, it claimed six of the top seven trending topics. #RAWonNetflix and ‘#WWEonNetflix’ were also trending in Brazil, Mexico, Spain, and the United States.

WWE received 223 million social views across platforms on the day of RAW’s Netflix release, more than any RAW program in 2024.

The premiere of RAW on Netflix, held in a sold-out Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, set a company record for the highest-grossing WWE arena event of all time. In addition, the event established a product sales record, making it the highest-grossing non-Premium Live Event in history.

WWE and Netflix signed a groundbreaking agreement in January 2024 to broadcast WWE’s main weekly program, RAW, on Netflix starting in 2025. RAW is currently available exclusively on Netflix in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Latin America, among other worldwide countries. In most foreign regions, Netflix is also the only place to watch SmackDown, NXT, archival material, and all WWE Premium Live Events, such as WrestleMania, Royal Rumble, SummerSlam, and others.
