WWE lands multi-year partnership with Twitch

This deal between Twitch and WWE will see the return of the official WWE channel as well as famous WWE Superstar channels.

The professional wrestling federation, World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) has announced a multi-year agreement with an American video live-streaming service, Twitch.

This deal will see the return of the official WWE channel as well as famous WWE Superstar channels, all of which will feature live and exclusive programming.

Twitch is a video live streaming service based in the United States that concentrates on video game live streaming, such as broadcasts of esports contests, as well as music broadcasts, creative content, and “in real life” feeds. Twitch is run by Twitch Interactive, an Amazon.com, Inc. subsidiary.

Along with the channel’s premiere, WWE will introduce an additional side cast to Monday Night RAW, taking the WWE Universe behind the scenes and bringing them closer to the in-ring action. The weekly viewing experience is expected to be guided by a rotating cast of hosts and will routinely feature appearances by WWE Superstars, unique and exclusive content including backstage interviews, and more.

Furthermore, the official WWE channel will host various live productions as well as act as an alternate live-streaming feed for all of WWE’s premium live event press conferences.
