WTA lands sponsorship deal with Hologic

Hologic will be integrated across all platforms by the WTA, including net signage at all WTA tournaments and virtual advertising at WTA 1000 and 500 events.

The Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) has announced a historic partnership with a global medical technology company, Hologic. With this partnership, Hologic has been labelled as the global title sponsor of the WTA Tour.

The multi-year partnership, which is the largest global sponsorship in WTA history and Hologic’s first worldwide sponsorship, aims to make significant progress by promoting greater wellness and equality for women. The ground-breaking collaboration enables both organisations to unite around their common goal of championing women while modernising their respective industries of healthcare and sports.

Hologic is one of the world’s leading medical technology innovators that focuses primarily on improving the health and well-being of women. This includes industry-leading products in all of its business segments, including diagnostics, imaging systems, and surgical devices. Hologic’s areas of focus include cutting-edge preventive care, reducing disparities in healthcare access and education, and conducting groundbreaking research to help countries around the world better prioritise women’s health.

As the WTA’s official health partner, Hologic becomes a founding partner of Hologic WTA Labs, a WTA initiative focusing on health innovation and research-based projects for female athletes.
