Kalyan Jewellers has strengthened its association with women’s sport in India after announcing a partnership with Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) Women, joining the franchise as its official style partner for the 2026 season of the Women’s Premier League.
The partnership reflects the growing commercial maturity of the WPL, with lifestyle and consumer-facing brands increasingly viewing the league as a premium platform to connect with young, urban, and aspirational audiences.
As part of the agreement, Kalyan Jewellers will receive brand integration across RCB Women’s digital platforms and team-led marketing assets throughout WPL 2026. The collaboration will also feature fan engagement initiatives and content-driven activations that position jewellery as an expression of confidence, individuality, and modern identity alongside elite women’s sport.
Commenting on the association, Ramesh Kalyanaraman, Executive Director, Kalyan Jewellers, said, “The RCB Women’s team embodies resilience, ambition, and self-belief – values that resonate strongly with Kalyan Jewellers. As the Official Style Partner of RCB Women, we are proud to celebrate athletes who exemplify confidence and purpose, while also reflecting the growing influence of women’s sport in India. We are delighted to be associated with a team that continues to inspire both on and off the field.”
Rajesh Menon, COO, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, added, “We are delighted to welcome Kalyan Jewellers as the Official Style Partner of RCB Women. This collaboration reflects the evolving face of women’s cricket, where excellence in sport goes hand in hand with confidence and individuality. We look forward to a strong and meaningful association this season.”
The association will be activated through an integrated marketing campaign featuring RCB Women players Smriti Mandhana, Shreyanka Patil, and Lauren Bell. Rolling out across digital and social media platforms, the campaign will seek to draw a connection between high-performance sport and contemporary elegance, positioning jewellery as a natural extension of personal style.
For Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women, the partnership adds a lifestyle-led dimension to its sponsorship portfolio, strengthening the franchise’s appeal beyond traditional cricket audiences and reinforcing its positioning as a culturally relevant sports brand.
The deal also underscores a broader trend within the WPL, which continues to attract sponsors from non-endemic categories such as fashion, jewellery, wellness, and consumer goods. As WPL 2026 shapes up to be the league’s most commercially competitive season to date, partnerships like this underline how women’s cricket in India has evolved into a mainstream sports and entertainment property and a premium destination for leading national brands.
