Gujarat Giants will be looking for their first WPL title this season. Against the defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at BCA Stadium in Vadodara on the first day of the competition, February 14, they will begin their WPL 2025 campaign.
GG have not had a particularly successful campaign in any of the WPL seasons. They finished last in the WPL points table on both occasions, considering winning only four games in total. The side has now added four significant players to its team at the WPL 2025 mini-auction. Gujarat Giants signed two overseas all-rounders, Deandra Dottin and Danielle Gibson. They also paid INR 1.9 crore for the services of uncapped Simran Shaikh and Prakashika Naik.
