The World Pickleball League (WPBL), India’s first franchise-based pickleball competition, has announced an exclusive streaming collaboration with SonyLIV, bolstering the league’s digital presence for the high-energy Season 2.
The World Pickleball League Season 2 comprises seven teams owned by celebrities, including Rishabh Pant (Mumbai Pickle Power), Priya Atlee and Atlee (Bengaluru Jawans), Samantha Ruth Prabhu (Chennai Super Champs) and more.
SonyLIV will broadcast all 120 WPBL Season 2 matches live, providing spectators with elite pickleball action, celebrity engagement, and an immersive experience. With the agreement, fans will be able to watch every match, crucial moments, and special content across many platforms.
The World Pickleball League is associated with the All India Pickleball Association (AIPA), the Asia Federation of Pickleball (AFP), and the United World Pickleball Federation (UWPF).

This agreement guarantees that the WPBL Season 2 reaches a digitally engaged, youthful, and urban sports audience in India by using SonyLIV’s robust OTT ecosystem. WPBL Season 2 will have 120 matches spread over 13 days, up from 90 in the initial season. The upcoming season will include 56 elite athletes from 18 different nationalities.
