World Legends Pro T20 League signs broadcast pacts with SonyLIV, FanCode, and DD Sports

The World Legends Pro T20 League (WLPTL) has announced a media rights agreement with SonyLIV, DD Sports, FanCode, YouTube, and Waves, assuring comprehensive coverage across screens and regions.

The event has officially begun in Goa, with the event kicking off on January 26, 2026, amid high fan interest and a crowded commercial and media ecosystem.

Along with the on-field action, the league has announced a robust sponsorship package for its inaugural season. Pantheon Development serves as the official umpire partner, while Goa Tourism is the presenting partner. Indigo 91.9 FM is the official radio partner; Viacation is the official travel partner; BookMyShow is the official ticketing partner; Campa Energy is the official beverage partner; Mirchi and Gaana are the official entertainment partners; and Kingfisher Premium Packaged Drinking Water is the official good times partner.

The World Legends Pro T20 League will take place in Goa’s 1919 Sportz Cricket Stadium until February 4, 2026, and will feature more than 90 international cricket legends divided among six teams. The 10-day competition combines fast-paced T20 cricket with entertainment-driven fan engagement.

The league has a strong Indian representation, with fan favourites Shane WatsonDale SteynJacques KallisChris GayleFaf du Plessis, and Indian legends Shikhar DhawanDinesh Karthik, and Harbhajan Singh, among other worldwide players.

With iconic names, multi-platform broadcast reach, and Goa as its host city, the World Legends Pro T20 League frames itself as a high-profile addition to the 2026 cricket calendar, hoping to capitalise on both nostalgia and the persistent worldwide desire for T20 cricket.
