The World Legends Pro T20 League (WLPTL) has appointed Goa Tourism as the presenting sponsor for its highly anticipated inaugural season, which begins on January 26 at the 1919 Cricket Stadium in Verna, Goa.
WLPTL will host an unprecedented international event, with 90 cricketers competing across six teams, including international legends Shane Watson, Dale Steyn, Jacques Kallis, Chris Gayle, Faf du Plessis, and Indian legends Shikhar Dhawan, Dinesh Karthik, Harbhajan Singh, and others confirmed for the inaugural season. This would provide Goa fans with a one-of-a-kind opportunity to see some of the greatest T20 players in history live.
For more than four decades, Goa Tourism has been instrumental in expanding tourism in the state and establishing Goa as one of India’s top vacation destinations. The WLPTL has arrived as a global sporting extravaganza, combining top cricket with Goa’s renowned array of beaches, history, food, and festivals. Featuring some of the game’s most legendary personalities, the league will be a must-see for both locals and visitors, firmly establishing Goa on the global cricket calendar over the season.
