Worcestershire County Cricket Club (WCCC), a first-class county club in England’s domestic cricket scene, has onboarded Reg&Partners to find sponsors and partners until 2026 and beyond.

The agreement will involve funding for the club spanning all teams and cricket formats, including T20, One Day, and County Cricket. Worcestershire CCC was founded in 1865 and has expanded steadily, with the club being promoted back into the top flight in 2023.

With a capacity of up to 5,500 people, there are several options for brands to be seen by the club’s engaged and loyal fans.
The team is one of 18 First Class County Cricket Clubs in England and Wales, and it is searching for sponsors that share its values of cricket excellence and deep community participation.

Sponsors will have the opportunity to reach an extensive audience as they have a social media following of around 350,000 and a reach of more than 215 million. Not only that, but the club is expanding, with a 20% rise in members and season ticket holders in the previous year, bringing even more attention to the club and its sponsors.

Joe Tromans, Head of Commercial and Partnerships at Worcestershire Cricket, said, commented, “Modern partnerships is about so much more than just a logo on a shirt, it’s about shared values, aligned audiences, and authentic engagement. At Worcestershire, we’ve always been proud of our deep-rooted connections and rich cricketing heritage, but we’re equally focused on driving innovation and long-term value for our partners. This collaboration with Reg&Partners marks the next step in our evolution, as we work to build meaningful partnerships that go beyond the boundary ropes and deliver impact both locally and nationally.”

With 70-75% of the club’s supporters hailing from Worcestershire and the West Midlands, there’s an opportunity for local businesses to get involved and reach their target demographic. That being said, there is still room for additional firms to sponsor the cricket club, which is seeing an increase in international involvement thanks to its social media and internet presence.
