Women’s T20 Challenge: Sponsors Watch

Cricket fans can watch the tournament live on Star Sports Network in multiple languages.

The Women’s T20 Challenge is all set to commence at the MCA Stadium in Pune with Supernovas taking on defending champions Trailblazers today i.e May 23 in the first match of the season.

In addition to Supernovas and Trailblazers, the Deepti Sharma-led Velocity will also compete in the T20 tournament.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has secured a few sponsors for the four-match tournament. The following companies have sponsored the Women’s T20 Challenge:

Title Sponsor:

Following a competitive bidding process, the BCCI named My11Circle, an Indian fantasy sports platform, as the title sponsor of the marquee women’s T20 league.

Official Sponsors:

In this category, BCCI has inked a partnership with a platform for cricket related NFTs, FanCraze. The company will be launching a brand-new mobile game, FanCraze Flash, which will be based on collecting and playing with women’s cricket NFTs over the course of the 2022 Women’s T20 Challenge.

CEAT has also been added as the official sponsor. The tyre company will be a strategic timeout partner just like it is for the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Furthermore, along with these two brands, Boost has also been roped in by the BCCI for the competition.

Anshum Bhambri, Chief Executive Officer, FanCraze said, “We will be debuting FanCraze Flash, a brand-new mobile game based on collecting and playing with women’s cricket NFTs over the course of the 2022 Women’s T20 Challenge.”

Cricket fans can watch the tournament live on Star Sports Network in multiple languages, including English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada. The four-match tournament will also be broadcast live on Disney+ Hotstar, Star’s OTT platform.

Before the commencement of the event, the official broadcaster released a new promo film starring the Bollywood actress, Taapsee Pannu to recognise and showcase the amazing talent of female cricketers.
