Women’s Premier League bags three new sponsors

All three companies have signed a three-year-agreement.

The much-anticipated women’s T20 League in India, the Women’s Premier League (WPL) has launched a partnership with three new companies: Dream11, CEAT Tyres, and Amul.

Following the agreements, Dream11 has been named the official fantasy partner, CEAT tyres to be the official strategic timeout partner, and Amul as the official Beverage partner. All three companies have signed a three-year-agreement till WPL 2025.

Dream 11 is a leading Indian fantasy sports platform that enables users to play fantasy cricket, football, hockey, kabaddi, etc. The company’s headquarter is in Mumbai, on the other side, CEAT Tyres is an Indian multinational tyre manufacturing company that is owned by the RPG Group and was founded in 1958. Amul also known as Anand Milk Union Limited is an Indian dairy state government cooperative society, which is from Anand Gujarat.

Earlier, the BCCI had already announced Tata Group as the official title sponsor of the WPL.

Jay Shah, Honorary Secretary, BCCI, said, “There is rising interest in the inaugural edition of the TATA Women’s Premier League. New partners coming on board is a testament to the quality and popularity that the tournament is set to garner amongst the fans and other stakeholders. We are sure that the league will provide ample opportunities for players to showcase their class and talent. We thank all the partners for their support as we look forward to a fruitful inaugural edition of the TATA Women’s Premier League”.

Arun Singh Dhumal, chairperson , Indian Premier League, said, “The TATA Women’s Premier League is going to be a significant tournament in the cricket calendar and it is wonderful to have the official partners on board. We believe this is a very positive sign for women’s cricket in India and the marquee tournament is going to grow from strength to strength in the years to follow.
