The Indian women-focused helmet brand, Tvarra, has onboarded Indian international cricketer, Jemimah Rodrigues, as an investor partner, signalling a strategic push to strengthen its mission around women’s road safety, mobility and independence.

The association moves beyond a traditional endorsement arrangement, with Rodrigues taking an equity stake in the company and joining as a long-term stakeholder. As part of the partnership, she will contribute to shaping Tvarra’s brand vision, advocacy initiatives and outreach programmes, with a focus on responsible riding and women-centric safety awareness.

Commenting on the partnership, Alpana Parida, Founder, Tvarra, said, “Every woman deserves the freedom to step out into the world with confidence. Whether it’s riding to college, heading to work, or pursuing something meaningful to her, safety should never be a barrier. Jemimah’s discipline, energy, and clarity of purpose reflect exactly how we think about building safety thoughtfully, responsibly, and for the long term.”

Jemimah Rodrigues, Investor Partner, Tvarra, added, “Sport teaches you preparation, consistency, and belief. Everyday life teaches women the same things. Mobility builds confidence. Safety builds courage. Tvarra is building both, and that’s why this partnership feels personal to me.”

Founded in 2020 by Alpana Parida, Tvarra is an Indian brand that exclusively designs helmets for women scooter riders. Its products are developed from the ground up to address women-specific requirements, including head size, weight distribution, hair volume, earrings and the practical demands of urban commuting, without compromising on protection.

Tvarra’s women-focused helmets are ISI-certified for Indian roads and also meet global safety standards through DOT certification. The company currently operates through an online-first model, with availability across more than 600 cities in India, and has outlined plans to expand into offline retail during 2026. It is also working on widening its product portfolio to include safety gear for younger riders aged between five and sixteen years.

From the company’s perspective, the collaboration brings together a clear consumer safety mission and a public figure who resonates strongly with young women nationwide. The women-focused helmet brand believes Rodrigues’ involvement will help amplify conversations around helmet usage, safe riding habits and women’s access to mobility, particularly among first-time riders and younger audiences.

The partnership reflects a broader shift in athlete-brand relationships, with sports professionals increasingly taking on investor-partner roles in purpose-led consumer businesses rather than short-term endorsement deals. By aligning equity with advocacy, Tvarra aims to build long-term brand credibility while scaling its presence in India’s growing two-wheeler market.

The company said it plans to roll out joint campaigns and community-led initiatives in the coming months as it continues to expand its operations nationwide.
