The Premier League (PL) club, Wolverhampton Wanderers FC have announced a partnership renewal with the only college of further education in Sandwell, West Midlands, Sandwell College.
With this association, Sandwell College can now offer two BTEC courses in esports and get access to the knowledge and experience of Wolves’ esports team.
A broad spectrum of subjects and careers in the esports sector are covered in the courses, including event planning, marketing, broadcasting, presenting, health and wellness, and responsible gaming.
Alongside this, students will have access to unique experiences, including stadium tours, meetings with professional teams, guest speaker events, and job experience placements.
Sandwell College exhibited its dedication to esports by investing in modern amenities such as esports game rooms, editing suites, and enterprise pods, which support the college’s two BTEC esports courses.

The employability skills they gain, including problem-solving, teamwork, organisation, digital skills, and analytics will serve them well in whichever path they choose after Sandwell College.”
