WinZo inks partnership deal with two PKL franchises

With a viewership of 435 million, the PKL is the second-most viewed sporting event in India.

WinZo, the Indian social gaming platform has decided to sign the sponsorship deal with two franchises of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL). The gaming platform sees this sponsorship deal as organic and attempts to support the young and local talent promoting the ‘Bharat ka Khel-Kabaddi.’

WinZo would be sponsoring the Future-group-owned Bengal Warriors and the Adani Group-owned Gujarat Giants. The deal was signed right before the beginning of the league’s eighth season. The teams would have WinZo’s logo on their jersey’s front.

With a viewership of 435 million, the PKL is the second-most viewed sporting event in India, followed by the Indian Premier League (IPL).

WinZo takes pride in the indigenous and homegrown sport and talent, it aspires to trace a shift in the audience’s interest towards native sports that consist of the potential to represent the Indian mettle on a global and broader level.

It claims to be passionate about the ‘Sporting and Gaming culture of India’ and is obligated to promote indigenous sporting talent and boost the overall gaming environment.
