Wimbledon prolongs official supplier contract with Lavazza

The four-year agreement was signed with the All England Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC), the tournament's administrators.

The Wimbledon tennis tournament has extended its official supplier contract with the Italian coffee maker, Lavazza through 2025.

Lavazza has the exclusive right, under the terms of the agreement, to provide its coffee at 80 service locations throughout the two-week competition.

The four-year agreement was signed with the All England Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC), the tournament’s administrators, and will begin this year. It is now in its eleventh year as the event’s official coffee. In order to leverage the UK market, Lavazza is also providing a “Wimbledon experience” in the heart of London, just off Regent Street, where the company inaugurated its maiden international flagship outlet outside of Italy.

The agreement highlights Lavazza’s long-standing dedication towards tennis. Recently, the company renewed its sponsorships with Roland-Garros and the US Open through 2025.

Regional Director for the UK & Nordics and General Manager of Lavazza UK, Pietro Mazzà, remarked, “Tennis is at the heart of the Lavazza family, and we are happy to help bring The Championships back to full capacity in 2022, from the beloved queue to every single bar and restaurant inside Wimbledon.”

In the UK, Lavazza has inked a long-standing partnership association with Ascot Racecourse and both the men’s and women’s squads of Arsenal.
