Whisper to support the coverage of India tour of England series

Whisper will also be looking to produce content before each day’s play, at lunch, tea breaks, and at the end of the day.

Live sports production company Whisper will be looking to assist Sony Picture Network India’s coverage of ongoing India vs England Test series in England.

Whisper will be looking to add expert analysis and pundit interviews between the breaks of the Test matches.

Rajesh Kaul, chief revenue officer at Sony said, “We are relying on them [Whisper] to not only be our partners but also our eyes and ears onsite at the venues so we can present our viewers with the best viewing experience despite having to adopt a remote production workflow for this high-profile series. Whisper’s experienced team will ensure a seamless delivery of all the production elements to enhance the live coverage of the five test matches of the series.”

The first Test ended in a draw whereas the second test which started on Thursday saw England win the toss and opt to field, the Indian team started off strong with Rohit Sharma (83) and KL Rahul (127*) being the highlight of Day one.

India has a firm grip on the second Test at the Lord’s as they have managed to score 276 at the loss of three wickets on Day 1.
