Perth Scorchers have unveiled a landmark partnership with Westside Auto, uniting two of Western Australia’s most recognisable brands ahead of the Weber WBBL|11 and KFC BBL|15 seasons.

As part of the agreement, Westside Auto joins the Scorchers as a major partner, with its logo set to appear on the back of both the men’s and women’s playing shirts and on player media polos throughout the Big Bash season.

The collaboration celebrates the shared values of two organisations built from Western Australian roots, authenticity, ambition, and community spirit.

WA Cricket CEO John Stephenson said, “We’re delighted to welcome Westside Auto as a major partner of Perth Scorchers. Westside Auto is a proudly local success story that’s grown from humble beginnings into one of the country’s leading dealerships. Their commitment to delivering an honest and hassle-free experience mirrors the Scorchers’ own values – and we’re excited to help amplify their story through the energy of our Big Bash audience.

“As Westside Auto embarks on this exciting new chapter, we’re proud they’ve chosen the Scorchers as the team to represent their brand. Together, we look forward to creating memorable experiences for our fans and building a long-term relationship that celebrates the best of WA.”

Westside Auto CEO CJ Jayasinghe added, “We’re thrilled to partner with the Perth Scorchers — an organisation that, like Westside Auto, represents the best of Western Australia through passion, teamwork, and success. Both our brands have grown from local roots to national recognition by staying true to our people and community.

“Whether it’s on the field or in the showroom, we share the same drive to deliver excellence and create memorable experiences for our supporters and customers alike. We’re proud to partner with the Scorchers this season and look forward to standing behind a team that inspires so many West Australians.”

Westside Auto is among Australia’s largest automotive dealerships by sales volume, retailing over 1,000 vehicles each month. Known for its customer-first approach and transparent pricing, the company’s ethos aligns closely with the Scorchers’ values of integrity, performance, and community connection.

The partnership will also extend beyond the playing field, with plans for community activations and fan engagement initiatives across Western Australia. These efforts aim to bring fans closer to the team while showcasing the power of local collaboration.

As the Scorchers prepare for another exciting summer, both sides of the club are set to feature star-studded line-ups. The women’s team, led by Sophie Devine and featuring talents like Alana King and Beth Mooney, begins its WBBL campaign against Sydney Sixers on November 9. Meanwhile, the men’s team, captained by Ashton Turner and boasting a formidable squad including Mitch Marsh, Josh Inglis, Jhye Richardson, Ashton Agar, and Aaron Hardie, opens its BBL season on December 14, also against the Sixers.

As the Big Bash lights up once again, Westside Auto’s logo on the iconic orange Scorchers jersey will stand as a symbol of shared ambition, a partnership built on local pride, community values, and a commitment to excellence that defines Western Australia.
