Volleyball World, the global commercial entity dedicated to the growth and promotion of volleyball and beach volleyball, has announced a expanded its ties with SPONSOR, Thailand’s leading sports drink brand under TCP Group.

This strengthened collaboration, into a wider regional collaboration across Southeast Asia for 2025, will be implemented through a series of significant volleyball tournaments around the area.

Volleyball World and SPONSOR’s cooperation is already in its third year and has already had a significant impact. SPONSOR was the title sponsor of the record-breaking 2024 Women’s Volleyball Nations League (VNL) Finals in Thailand, as well as the 2023 VNL Bangkok Stage.
The total live broadcast audience for the VNL 2024 in Thailand was a remarkable 38.4 million people throughout 53 hours of coverage. Particularly, the Thailand vs China match, which aired on Channel 7, had an average live audience of 3.7 million, the biggest sports viewing in Thailand that year, with a peak of 4.6 million.

Leveraging on this momentum, SPONSOR will now expand its assistance to select stages of the 2025 VNL around Southeast Asia and the FIVB Women’s Volleyball World Championship 2025, which will be held in Thailand for the first time in history.

SPONSOR’s association this year will result in a comprehensive, multi-channel marketing campaign that will feature exciting fan interaction activities such as chances to win match tickets and special items. A range of engaging activities will keep spectators interested throughout the competition. SPONSOR’s “Cheer for Thailand with All Your Heart” campaign attempts to bring volleyball fans closer to the action by rallying behind their beloved teams.

Oliver Clarke, Head of Sponsorship at Volleyball World, said, “We are delighted to extend our collaboration with SPONSOR, a brand that shares our ambition to grow volleyball and engage more fans throughout Southeast Asia. The engagement and passion from supporters in Thailand during the VNL over the past two years has been remarkable, and with SPONSOR’s continued support, we are confident that we can continue to build on this, developing different ways to engage both new and existing fans.”

Mallika Lungnimitmas, Marketing Director of TCP Group, said, “Since 2023, we have proudly supported the Volleyball Nations League (VNL) in Thailand, offering fans a world-class sporting experience and the chance to cheer on the Thai national team. This year, are excited to mark another major milestone, as we extend our partnership to the Women’s Volleyball World Championship 2025, coming to Thailand for the first time ever.
