The campaign features Virat Kohli in five distinct 30-second commercials, each highlighting a specific HSBC offering.

HSBC India, a leading international bank, has launched a dynamic new advertising campaign featuring the legendary Virat Kohli.

The campaign leverages Kohli’s immense popularity to showcase the bank’s diverse suite of products and services catering to a wide range of customer needs.

The campaign features five distinct 30-second commercials, each highlighting a specific HSBC offering. Kohli partners with renowned celebrities and social media influencers to create engaging vignettes showcasing the benefits of:

Home Loans: One film focuses on home loans, featuring Kohli and actor Aamir Ali. Through a game of Jenga, the ad highlights Khan’s purchase of a penthouse on an EMI plan. Kohli then introduces HSBC’s smart home loan option, which helps customers save interest and reduce loan tenure.

Credit Cards: The social media influencer Kamiya Jani playfully compares herself to Kohli for her impressive collection of reward points. Kohli then introduces her to the benefits of HSBC Credit Cards, which offer cashback rewards with every swipe.

NRI Services: An NRI friend struggles with opening an account and transferring funds. Kohli highlights HSBC’s NRI services that enable opening an Indian account from abroad within hours and facilitate global money transfers.

HSBC Premier: This ad targets frequent travellers. Kohli, at a video shoot wrap-up, emphasizes the ease of global account management through a single login offered by HSBC Premier.

Young Professionals: A young man shares his job offer excitement with Kohli. Kohli introduces the benefits of an HSBC Salary Account, featuring attractive cashback on debit card transactions and an overdraft facility.

The campaign will be broadcast across television, OTT platforms, and social media, ensuring maximum reach among potential customers.

HSBC, short for The Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC), is a giant in the financial services world. Headquartered in London, it boasts the title of Europe’s largest bank by total assets. The bank offers a wide range of banking and financial products to individual consumers, businesses, and institutions globally. With a rich history from 1865, HSBC has a strong presence in East Asia and maintains a multinational footprint.

This is not Kohli’s first ad campaign in 2024. He has recently been featured in campaigns for KEI Wires and Cables, Asian Paints, Amaze, Blue Star, and Philips India.

The former Indian cricket team captain represents India in the ongoing ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 in the USA and West Indies. Team India has won its first two matches and will face the co-host USA on June 12 at 8:00 PM IST.
