Vijay Deverakonda joins Hyderabad Black Hawks as co-owner

This 33-year-old Telugu superstar will also be the brand ambassador for the team.

The South Indian actor, Vijay Deverakonda has been named the co-owner of the RuPay Prime Volleyball League (PVL) team, Hyderabad Black Hawks.  

This 33-year-old Telugu superstar has also been announced the brand ambassador for the team and will mainly take part in appearances and promotions which will help the team to reach out to a mass and global audience. 

Abhishek Reddy Kankanala, the Principal Owner of the Black Hawks said, “We are excited to have Vijay joining us, both as a co-owner and a brand ambassador. He brings a new perspective into the mix that can really push our brand to the next level, and advance our organization a massive step towards achieving our vision as the team that represents the spirit and culture of Telugu people across the world. Vijay Deverakonda is a dynamic Telugu acting sensation, known for his roles in movies like Arjun Reddy, Geetha Govindam, and Peli Choopulu. He has a huge fan base not only among the Telugu audience but also followed nationwide. 

Hyderabad Black Hawks are the professional volleyball team based in Hyderabad and the sole representative of the Telugu-speaking states, participating in the Prime Volleyball League. In the last edition, the team reached the semi-final stage but was defeated by Ahmedabad Defenders

Prime Volleyball League’s next edition will begin on February 4, 2023, and will end on March 5, 2023. This marquee volleyball tournament will be broadcasted by SONY Sports Network and will be digitally streamed by SonyLIV.
