Viaplay, RiksTV to broadcast Premier League in Norway

Customers of RiksTV will be able to watch Premier League football on V Premium.

The English top-flight, Premier League has been incorporated into Viaplay Group’s long-term broadcasting agreement in Norway with a Norwegian TV provider, RiksTV.

When Viaplay Group’s Norwegian programming of the world’s most famous football championship begins in August, RiksTV subscribers would be eligible to watch all 380 Premier League matches live each season using streaming and hybrid plans.

An existing Norwegian broadcast agreement between Viaplay Group and RiksTV includes Viaplay, the V sport premium linear TV networks, and local linear TV stations.

Customers of RiksTV will be able to watch Premier League football on V Premium, a unique combination service that combines all of the V sporting premium traditional TV channels from Viaplay Group, all five new top-quality Premier League-specific networks, and the Viaplay Film & Series streaming option.

The Viaplay Total viewing bundle, which will broadcast every Premier League game, is available to Strim subscribers of RiksTV.

In addition to the Premier League, Viaplay also broadcasts the National Hockey League (NHL), Formula 1, IHF and EHF handball, UEFA Europa League, EFL Championship, Carabao Cup, FA Cup, and FIS winter sports in Norway.
