The Bundesliga club, VfB Stuttgart have announced a sponsorship agreement with bet365, a global leader in online sports betting.

As part of the deal, the brand has become the club’s official team partner for the 2025-26 Bundesliga season. The arrangement will allow bet365 to retain an effective brand presence at the MHP Arena during the season, incorporating in-game perimeter LED boards, stadium branding, and unique social media content.

Rouven Kasper, VfB’s Chief Marketing and Sales Officer, said, “We are delighted to welcome bet365, one of the world’s leading online sports betting brands, as an official team partner of VfB Stuttgart. With bet365, Stuttgart gains a partner that is actively committed to player protection and fully dedicated to promoting responsible gambling. This was a prerequisite for us entering into this partnership.”

Alex Sefton, bet365’s Global Chief Marketing Officer, said, “We are excited to partner with VfB Stuttgart, a club with a rich history and a very passionate fan base. We look forward to supporting the Reds in this Bundesliga season and cannot wait to experience the atmosphere within the MHP Arena.”

The agreement strengthens bet365’s growing footprint in German and European football. In August 2024, the firm became the first betting brand to sponsor the UEFA Champions League as an official global partner.

This collaboration comes at a time when VfB Stuttgart are strengthening their commercial infrastructure with high-value sponsorships that are consistent with its brand identity and regulatory requirements. Notably, bet365’s dedication to responsible gaming and player safety was identified as a key component in the deal.

This collaboration exemplifies the changing landscape of sports sponsorships, in which data-driven brands like bet365 seek culturally relevant platforms to reach high-engagement audiences, while clubs like VfB Stuttgart seek to align with financially stable, regulatory-compliant partners to fuel long-term growth.

The deal’s financial parameters have not been released, but industry analysts believe it is consistent with the Bundesliga’s overall trend of 7-figure commercial relationships, particularly with firms operating in high-margin verticals like as sports betting and iGaming.
