USA cricket announced its sponsorship deal with the Detroit based mortgage company Sistar Mortgage, the agreement has been signed for three years.
The deal will see Sistar Mortgage become the first-ever sponsor of the national governing body’s Women’s Domestic Cricket Structure. The organization tends to encourage the youth especially girls to take up cricket as a sport.
The deal will see Sistar Mortgage’s logo appear on the front of the shirts of the kit of the national team including the men’s, women’s and the U19.
Vinita Gandhi, chief executive of Sistar Mortgage said, “We are hugely excited by the potential for the growth of cricket in the United States and our business shares many of the goals and vision set out by USA Cricket, we look forward to completing our own expansion plans across the country as USA Cricket progresses with making cricket a mainstream sport in this country.”
Ahead of the deal, the team will also play in the Sistar Mortgage championship flaunting their newly signed sponsors on their team’s jersey.
Before the agreement, Ian Higgins, chief executive of USA cricket said, “This is the first of an increasing number of commercial partnerships that are being put together as we continue to make progress with laying a foundation for the future growth of the sport. We know that Sistar Mortgage’s ideals resonate well with USA Cricket’s own objectives and bringing the sport into the mainstream through stable long term growth strategies.”
