US Soccer renews sponsorship ties with AT&T

The alliance between US Soccer and AT&T will keep reinventing how American football fans engage with the game.

The official governing body of soccer in the United States, US Soccer has signed a multi-year extension with the American telecommunications company, AT&T.

The alliance will keep reinventing how American football fans engage with the game. The deal was signed in anticipation of the U.S. Men’s and Women’s National Teams’ forthcoming participation in some of football’s biggest international tournaments.

U.S. Soccer Vice President of Partnership Marketing, Kelly Higginsm, said, “We’re thrilled to extend our relationship with AT&T. As we continue progressing through some of the biggest moments in soccer, beginning with the Women’s World Cup this summer and through the 2026 Men’s World Cup in the United States, AT&T will be key in helping us connect fans of all backgrounds to soccer and ultimately change the way fans experience the transcendent power of this game on and off the pitch.”

Mark Wright, VP of media and sponsorships, AT&T, said, “When it comes to fandom, soccer fans are raising the bar. They are among the most passionate and engaged fanbases in all of sports and we take inspiration from them in everything we do. Together with our incredible collaborators at the U.S. Soccer Federation, we will continue to create more immersive moments and deeper access through AT&T connectivity.”

The agreement, which will concentrate on developing immersive experiences, delivering authentic stories, and having an impact, is the culmination of a decade-long relationship between US Soccer and AT&T that began in 2013.

In this agreement, AT&T will begin with AT&T 5G Net Cam, a one-of-a-kind camera angle that uses AT&T 5G technology to provide spectators with a first-of-its-kind replay view from inside the goal.

Furthermore, as part of an agreement to strengthen voices and champion diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, AT&T will also keep backing US Soccer’s ‘SheBelieves’ platform as well as the annual SheBelieves Summit hosted by Deloitte, which seeks to motivate the next generation through panels, breakout sessions, and networking opportunities. US Soccer and AT&T will also honour Hispanic Heritage Month with a new effort aimed at recognising the connection between arts and soccer culture.
