US Open, Tiffany & Co. announce partnership renewal

Following this development, Tiffany & Co. has once again become the official trophy partner of the US Open.

The US Open has announced a multi-year partnership renewal with an American luxury jewellery and speciality design house, Tiffany & Co.

Following this development, Tiffany & Co. has once again become the official trophy partner of the tournament.

Tiffany & Co., which has been creating prominent US Open trophies for the last 37 years, will also create souvenir trophies for the men’s and women’s singles champions. The memento trophies are equal-sized copies that are made for each champion to take home as a private, long-lasting reminder of their triumphs.

Tiffany & Co. will direct on-site, instantaneous hand-engraving of the men’s and women’s singles memento trophies for the first time ever. Currently, each singles champion may depart the US Open with their personalised, memento trophy.

Additionally, Tiffany & Co. will, for the first time, operate a fully immersive booth on the South Plaza for the entirety of the US Open to draw attention to its extensive tennis tradition and its shared relationship with the United States Tennis Association (USTA). Tennis balls in Tiffany Blue will be shown on walls as part of the activity, and guests will be able to engage with two cutting-edge AR lens experiences on a Snap AR Mirror. The replica trophies for the USTA men’s and women’s singles championships will also be on display.

Tiffany & Co. will further demonstrate its support for equality by creating the special Lifetime Achievement and Leadership Awards that will be given to two trailblazing women at the first Champions of Equality Event on September 7, the evening of the women’s semifinals. This is in conjunction with the US Open’s 50th-anniversary festivities of awarding equal prize money to men and women.

The US Open trophies are an elegant monument to the competition and a prestigious representation of Tiffany’s world-famous workmanship. They are made each year in the Tiffany hollowware facility in Cumberland, Rhode Island.
