The United States Tennis Association (USTA) has entered into a multi-year partnership with Kalshi, naming the New York-based prediction market operator the first official prediction market partner of the US Open.
The partnership, which began with the 2026 US Open Singles Main Draw, gives Kalshi an official commercial presence at one of tennis’s biggest global events as prediction markets continue to establish a foothold across professional sport.
As part of the agreement, Kalshi will receive branding and activation opportunities across the US Open, including on-court signage and digital platforms. The company will also hold an exclusive position within the prediction-market category.
The partnership is underpinned by a framework focused on protecting the integrity of competition. The USTA and Kalshi will restrict markets that could present competitive-integrity concerns, including those involving umpire decisions, player injuries and code violations.
Kalshi has also entered into a confidential data-sharing agreement with the International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) to facilitate real-time market surveillance. The arrangement is designed to complement the USTA’s existing integrity measures and provide greater oversight of prediction-market activity connected to the tournament.
USTA CEO Craig Tiley said, “We’re relentless about keeping tennis at the cutting edge of global sports innovation and fan connection. Partnering with Kalshi gives us an opportunity to pioneer that next generation of fan engagement while ensuring the integrity of our sport.”
Kalshi co-founder and CEO Tarek Mansour added, “Every summer the US Open takes over New York, and as a New York company, we’re proud to be part of it. Tennis is one of the fastest-growing sports on Kalshi, with fans using our markets to understand what’s happening throughout the tournament. We’re proud to partner with the USTA to give fans even more ways to engage with the game they love. That’s the standard for how leagues and prediction markets should partner.”
The agreement represents a notable expansion of the US Open’s commercial portfolio while giving Kalshi an official association with a Grand Slam event. More broadly, it signals the growing convergence between sports rights holders and prediction-market operators.
By establishing a dedicated prediction-market category with specific integrity safeguards, the USTA-Kalshi partnership could also offer a framework for other major sporting properties evaluating the commercial potential of the rapidly developing sector.
