upGrad associates with Star Sports, Disney+Hotstar for VIVO IPL 2021

upGrad, Asia’s prominent edu tech leader, has announced its association with Star Sports and Disney+Hotstar for phase 2 of the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

upGrad will be launching its campaign live on September 19 and will be running throughout the second phase of the IPL till October 15, 2021. The campaign will be featuring in different languages including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada alongside Hindi to connect with the regional audience.

upGrad will be trying to gain large brand exposure through the league’s immense popularity and massive viewership numbers across the world.

As per reports, Star Sports and Disney+ Hotstar are expected to earn Rs 8500 crore in ad revenue between phase 2 of IPL 2021 and IPL 2022 due to their hectic sports broadcasting schedule which includes major events from different sports. upGrad will be one more addition to their sponsorship portfolio.

The IPL 2021 is all set to commence from September 19, the first fixture will be played between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians at the Dubai International Stadium.
