The Hockey India League (HIL) team, UP Rudras have announced a sponsorship agreement with the manufacturer of cement and cement-based products, JK Super Cement.
This alliance has designated the brand as the team’s principal sponsor for the sixth edition of the HIL. In addition, the brand’s logo will be displayed on the front of the team’s shirt.
JK Super Cement is a brand of cement made by JK Cement Ltd., one of India’s top cement manufacturers. The firm provides a variety of cements, including Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC), Portland Pozzolana Cement (PPC), and others, which are commonly used in building and infrastructure projects. JK Cement is well-known for its high-quality products and significant market presence in India’s cement sector.
UP Rudras, led by Hardik Singh, will begin their campaign against Kalinga Lancers at the Birsa Munda International Hockey Stadium in Rourkela on December 30 at 8:15 PM IST.
The Lucknow-based unit, owned by Yadu Sports, features a competitive lineup that includes budding talents Priyobarta Talem and Gurjot Singh, as well as seasoned players Lalit Kumar Upadhyay, Simranjeet Singh, Lars Baulk, and Kane Russell. With a mix of youth and experience, the team appears to be on track for a successful season.
