UFlex partners with Triveni Continental Kings for Season 3 of the Global Chess League 2025

UFlex Limited, India’s largest flexible packaging and solutions company, has partnered with Triveni Continental Kings (TCK) as an official sponsor for Season 3 of the Tech Mahindra Global Chess League (GCL) 2025, marking the brand’s entry into the professional chess ecosystem.

The collaboration highlights UFlex’s growing commitment to supporting sports that nurture intellectual discipline, creative problem-solving, and youth empowerment.

As part of the association, UFlex’s branding will appear prominently on the Continental Kings’ jerseys and across other team assets during the tournament, scheduled from December 13 to 24, 2025, in India. The partnership unites two champions in their respective domains, a global packaging leader and a franchise that has lifted the GCL title in both previous editions.

Triveni Continental Kings return this season with a formidable squad featuring some of the biggest names in global chess. Leading the charge is Alireza Firouzja, who remains the team’s Icon Player, alongside China’s Wei Yi and India’s Vidit Gujrathi, fresh off captaining the national team to gold at the 45th Chess Olympiad. The women’s lineup features Alexandra Kosteniuk, former Women’s World Champion, and Zhu Jiner, ranked among China’s top five players. The team’s prodigy spot is filled by Marc’Andria Maurizzi, the 2023 World Junior Champion and reigning French National Champion.

The Tech Mahindra Global Chess League, a joint venture between Tech Mahindra and FIDE (the International Chess Federation), remains the world’s first and only franchise-based chess league. The 2025 season promises to deliver an enhanced digital experience powered by Google Cloud, offering real-time analytics and immersive fan engagement tools designed to make the sport more interactive for global audiences.

For UFlex, this partnership marks a strategic expansion into intellectual and tech-driven sports, reinforcing its long-standing association with youth, education, and innovation. For TCK, the collaboration strengthens its commercial portfolio and reflects the growing corporate recognition of chess as a dynamic, mainstream entertainment product.

As Triveni Continental Kings aim for an unprecedented third consecutive title, their alliance with UFlex symbolizes more than a sponsorship; it’s a convergence of strategy, creativity, and the relentless pursuit of excellence that defines both the brand and the board.
