UFC taps Asian market with Pepperstone alliance

With this agreement, Pepperstone has become UFC's official trading partner in Asia.

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), the world’s premier mixed martial arts organisation, has announced a new sponsorship deal with the online forex trading provider, Pepperstone.

With this agreement, the brand has become UFC’s official trading partner in Asia, as the two companies intend to expand their presence in the given market.

Through this association, Pepperstone intends to utilise the UFC’s 400 million supporters across Asia to broaden its trading services in a rapidly rising market. Pepperstone will also receive a prominent presence at UFC events, especially those held in Asia, with the next event taking place this Saturday, November 23, at the Galaxy Arena in Macau, China.

Tamas Szabo, Group CEO of Pepperstone, said, “We are thrilled to join forces with UFC. We choose to partner with like-minded organisations focused on a shared passion, drive and commitment to raising the game, and we look forward to building a winning partnership together.”

The Pepperstone deal is yet another sponsorship arrangement made by the UFC after its sponsorship team unified with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) under one banner as part of TKO Group‘s effort to secure more valuable partnerships for both organisations.

In recent times, UFC also developed agreements with IBM, Aires TechAnkerHostage TapeSportz Interactive19 CrimesSmith+Nephew, and Venum.

Nicholas Smith, Vice President of Global Partnerships for TKO Group, said, “We’re thrilled to welcome Pepperstone into the UFC family as our first official partner. Pepperstone is an innovator and disruptor in their industry, much like UFC has been in combat sports for more than three decades. We’re looking forward to working with the great team from Pepperstone to leverage our platforms to drive awareness for their brand among our massive fan base, one of the most loyal and passionate in all of sports.”
