UEFA renews OPPO alliance until 2027

As part of this renewed agreement with UEFA, OPPO will continue to leverage its cutting-edge technologies to elevate the fan experience.

UEFA, the governing body of European football, has announced a renewal of its partnership with OPPO, the leading global technology brand.

This extended collaboration will continue through the 2024-27 commercial cycle, covering the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, UEFA Youth League, and UEFA Futsal Champions League.

As part of this renewed agreement, OPPO will continue to leverage its cutting-edge technologies to elevate the fan experience. Through its smartphones, smartwatches, and AI solutions, OPPO will provide fans with immersive and interactive ways to connect with the UEFA Champions League.

Beyond the fan experience, OPPO remains dedicated to supporting youth football development programs. By partnering with the European football governing body, OPPO aims to inspire young players and promote grassroots football initiatives.

Commenting on the occasion, Guy-Laurent Epstein, UEFA Marketing Director, said, “Over the past two seasons, OPPO smartphones and technologies have uplifted the UEFA Champions League experience for fans worldwide with their advanced imaging and AI capabilities. We now look forward to building on our collaboration to ensure that more people can feel the passion of football and be inspired by the UEFA Champions League.”

Billy Zhang, President of Overseas MKT, Sales and Service at OPPO, added, “Our collaboration with UEFA over the past two years has highlighted our shared values in connecting and inspiring fans of all generations. We look forward to continuing to strengthen our partnership over the next three years, connecting fans closer to the match through OPPO’s innovations in imaging and AI technologies, and dedicating more resources to helping young players and the broader global football community experience the magic of football.”

The partnership coincides with a transformative period for the UCL, as the tournament adopts a new format featuring a 36-team league and an expanded fixture list. The round-robin stage kicks off on September 17, featuring exciting clashes such as AC Milan vs Liverpool, Manchester City vs Inter Milan, Arsenal vs PSG, Barcelona vs Bayern Munich, and a rematch of last year’s final between Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund.
