UEFA onboards AXA as official global partner for Women’s EURO 2025

AXA will now sponsor the UEFA Women's EURO 2025 volunteer programme, in which 2,500 volunteers are projected to play an important role in the tournament's execution.

The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), the governing body of European football, has forged a partnership with AXA, a global insurance leader.

With this agreement, AXA has been named official global partner of the UEFA Women’s EURO 2025, which will take place in Switzerland from July 2–27, 2025.

The business, which is already an active promoter of women’s football in Switzerland as the title sponsor of the Swiss women’s national league and the women’s cup, will now also sponsor the UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 volunteer programme, in which 2,500 volunteers are projected to play an important role in the tournament’s execution.

The 16-team championship will be taking place across eight Swiss cities, including Basel, Bern, Geneva, Zürich, St. Gallen, Lucerne, Thun, and Sion. Qualification for the UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 commenced last month and continues next week with Matchday 3. The Women’s European Qualifiers culminate in the play-offs at the end of the year.

AXA has joined adidas, Amazon, Booking.com, Electronic Arts (EA), Euronics, Grifols, HeinekenHublotJust Eat TakeawayPepsiCo, and Visa as global partners of UEFA Women’s EURO 2025.
