Udinese renews kit partnership with Macron until 2025

The partnership includes both entities to make the environment and sustainability an essential value.

The Serie A outfit, Udinese celebrated its 125th anniversary this week and signed a contract extension of its kit partnership with Macron until June 2025. As part of the celebration, Macron has launched an ‘Anniversary’ jersey which expresses the club’s history through the historical logos that have characterized the black and white uniforms from 1896 till today.

Udinese Calcio general manager Franco Collavino, said, “This extension testifies the solidity and the exchange of values with Macron. It is not common to extend an agreement in itself valid for another two seasons. This shows how our partnership finds more and more fertile ground to develop new activities. For four seasons now, Macron has been designing great jerseys for us that have become iconic.”

The partnership includes both the entities to make the environment and sustainability an essential value through the jerseys that are made with fabric from 100% recycled plastic.

“Our relationship shares and enhances common visions beyond football. Above all, that of eco-sustainability for which Udinese and Macron are fighting in the forefront with shared projects. In this sense, what we have done with Macron regarding our green game jerseys represents an extraordinary driving force,” said Collavino.

Although the value of the contract wasn’t revealed, Sports Marketing Manager of Macron, Gabriele Tacconi, said, “By sharing the same intentions and a common vision of the objectives of sustainability and quality of life, we can give this relationship a value that goes beyond the purely technical aspect.”

The club currently is doing well in the league as they are 14th on the points table. They face Lazio next on December 3 and will look to survive the relegation zone.
