The governing body for football in the United States, the United States Soccer Federation, also known as U.S. Soccer, has developed a multi-year sponsorship deal with American Airlines, a major U.S.-based airline.
The alliance was formed to improve the travel experience for US soccer supporters and member organisations across the country.
As the official airline of U.S. Soccer, American Airlines provides an unparalleled level of enthusiasm, accessibility, and connection to the game for soccer fans, U.S. Soccer member organisations, and AAdvantage members.
With approximately 125 million U.S. Soccer fans and travellers from the 118 U.S. Soccer member organisations travelling the world to support U.S. Soccer’s 27 National Teams and the thousands of players throughout the soccer ecosystem, American will be at the core of creating unforgettable matchday experiences for both fans and players.
Collectively, U.S. Soccer and American will honour soccer’s loyal communities via immersive storytelling content and exclusive perks for members of the airline’s AAdvantage loyalty program, in addition to curated matchday moments for fans, including match ball presentations as part of matchday check-in, behind-the-scenes player access, flyaway trips for U.S. Soccer Insiders and AAdvantage members, and premium hospitality experiences at a number of marquee matches each year.

American’s comprehensive engagement will also include sponsorship of a digital content series that will include true, behind-the-scenes content from U.S. Soccer’s most enthusiastic fans and players, which will air across the organization’s social platforms throughout the year. In-stadium takeovers and activations will also be included during U.S. Soccer’s marquee events, including a title match with an emphasis on community impact.
