The Pro Kabaddi League outfit, U Mumba have penned down a partnership with the online higher education platform, upGrad. Following this association, upGrad has been labelled as the official knowledge partner of the Mumbai-based kabaddi franchise in the ongoing season eight of the PKL.
The announcement of the partnership was made by U Mumba as the kabaddi franchise took it to their official Twitter and Instagram account to share the news. Adding to it, the educational site will be placing its logo on the sleeve of the U Mumba player jersey in the ongoing season.
upGrad started its journey back in 2015, the company consisted of Ronnie Screwvala, Mayank Kumar, Phalgun Kompalli, and, Ravijot Chugh. Since then, upGrad didn’t have to look back as currently, it has expanded its market by becoming South Asia’s largest higher EdTech company.
The platform provides online educational programs to working professionals, college students, and corporates in the fields of IT, data science, management, and technology. It is also the official education partner of the Government of India’s, Startup India.
Apart from upGrad, U Mumba have roped in the mobile phone and television manufacturing company, Karbonn as their associate sponsor a few weeks back.
On the field, U Mumba will be facing Jaipur Pink Panthers in their next PKL fixture which is scheduled for December 30 at 7:30 PM IST. The team is currently sitting sixth in the league table, collecting nine points from their last three games.
