Turkish Airlines (THY) has renewed its sponsorship agreement with the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) for an additional three years, reinforcing a partnership that has endured for 18 years.

The extension underscores THY’s unwavering commitment to supporting both the men’s and women’s national football teams and promoting Turkish football on the global stage.

The signing ceremony was held at the Hasan Doğan National Teams Camp and Training Facilities in Istanbul, bringing together prominent figures in Turkish football and aviation. Attendees included TFF President İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu, Turkish Airlines Chairman Prof. Dr. Ahmet Bolat, men’s national team head coach Vincenzo Montella, women’s national team head coach Necla Güngör Kıragası, and team captains Hakan Çalhanoğlu and Didem Karagenç.

Speaking at the ceremony, TFF President Hacıosmanoğlu said, “This agreement will take our partnership, which adds value to our country, to a higher dimension,” Hacıosmanoğlu stated. He emphasized his belief that with THY’s support, the Men’s National Team is poised to secure a spot at the 2026 World Cup—a feat not achieved in 24 years—and wished the Women’s team success in their upcoming UEFA Nations League matches.

“With the support of Turkish Airlines, which is always by the side of our nation and national team, we will achieve our goals one by one.”

Turkish Airlines Chairman Prof. Dr. Ahmet Bolat highlighted the broader significance of the partnership and added, “Football is a universal language that unites millions of people around a common excitement. While you wave our flag on the pitch, we carry the same pride in the sky. Our goal is to make our nation proud, to inspire our youth, and to elevate Turkey to the place it deserves in sports.”

The renewed agreement is structured as a 1+2-year term, covering the 2025–2026 season with an option to extend for an additional two years. Under this strategic partnership, Turkish Airlines will continue providing essential transportation services for the national teams, ensuring smooth travel arrangements for international fixtures while reinforcing its role as a symbol of national pride.

This collaboration not only strengthens the logistical capabilities of the national teams but also underscores Turkey’s commitment to fostering excellence in football. As the nation prepares for upcoming international competitions, the partnership stands as a testament to the unity and dedication of Turkish institutions in promoting and supporting national sports.
