The national flag carrier of Turkey, Turkish Airlines, has been appointed as the official partner of the prestigious club football competition, UEFA Champions League.
The development has come just ahead of the commencement of the group stage of the tournament and the brand has become the eighth official global partner.
The association includes the UEFA Super Cup, the UEFA Futsal Champions League final and the UEFA Youth League finals.
Turkish Airlines has a rich experience in collaborating with football teams as it has teamed with clubs like FC Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund, Olympique Marseille, Manchester United, and River Plate.
Matchday 1 of the group stage will commence with a fixture between Dinamo Zagreb and Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund and Copenhagen.
Earlier this year in July, Oppo was also signed as the official sponsor of the competition.
