Turkish Airlines has expanded its footprint in global golf after being announced as the official airline partner of England Golf in a new three-year agreement focused on player development, international competition travel, and the growth of amateur golf across England.

The partnership sees Turkish Airlines support England Golf’s national performance squads by providing international travel assistance for players, coaches, and staff competing at tournaments and training camps around the world. The agreement is also expected to strengthen development pathways for emerging golfers seeking greater exposure on the international stage.

As part of the collaboration, Turkish Airlines has additionally been named headline partner of the prestigious Brabazon Trophy, one of the world’s leading amateur golf championships. The 2026 edition of the tournament will be staged at Moortown Golf Club.

The deal further reinforces Turkish Airlines’ growing investment in global sport and golf in particular, with the airline continuing to build a broad sponsorship portfolio, such as the Turkish National Football Team, Euroleague Basketball, and international golf properties, including the Turkish Airlines Open and Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup.

Speaking on the partnership, Turkish Airlines’ General Manager for Manchester, Serhat Gök, said, “We’re glad to partner with England Golf, supporting players at every level and connecting them to global opportunities through our unrivalled international network. As we wrap up the Turkish Airlines Open, we’re delighted to be supporting international travel for the Performance Squad, and we look forward to enabling more players to compete and gain experience on the world stage, while enhancing leading events like the Brabazon Trophy.”

Jeremy Tomlinson, Group Chief Executive at England Golf, added, “This is a proud moment for the England Golf team as we celebrate a landmark partnership with the global brand Turkish Airlines – an organisation that is partnering with us to support our National Squads’ travel to international tournaments and training, as well as offering future benefits to our wider membership.

“Together we will make every effort to Inspire More Golfers, promoting golf in the most positive light and of course showcasing golf as a sport for all.”

Under the agreement, Turkish Airlines will receive branding visibility across England Golf’s championships, digital platforms, and member engagement channels. England Golf members and iGolf subscribers are also expected to receive access to exclusive travel offers, competitions, and fan experiences.

The partnership reflects the increasing role of golf as a premium global platform for tourism, hospitality, and international brand engagement, with airlines and travel companies continuing to deepen their presence within the sport’s commercial ecosystem.
