TransGroup secures rights for five bilateral series in Pakistan

Pakistan will be playing home series against England, New Zealand, Australia and West Indies.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has entered into a strategic partnership with TransGroup International for the upcoming cricket season. TransGroup International has secured sponsorship rights and ground rights for the entire season.

Pakistan has a busy schedule next year with the home series against England and New Zealand coming first which will be followed by the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. Moreover, after the conclusion of the Men’s T20 World Cup, Australia and the West Indies will be visiting them. The first match will be an ODI between Pakistan and New Zealand at the Pindi Cricket Stadium, Rawalpindi on Friday, 17 September.

In this tightly packed schedule, TransGroup international has hit the jackpot here. Additionally, the previous sponsors Tapal Tea, Lifebuoy and Surf Excel will also be reaping huge benefits.

“The upcoming international season is an incredibly exciting one for us and in particular for cricket fans across the country as we host four of the leading international sides in New Zealand, England’s men’s and women’s, West Indies and Australia,” said PCB chief executive, Wasim Khan.

’TransGroup International has been a proud partner of Pakistan cricket for almost three decades now and it gives me immense joy to see this partnership growing further. PCB’s consistent efforts have resulted in a bumper home season with New Zealand, England, West Indies and Australia touring Pakistan and we are keen to provide all our support to Pakistan cricket for these series,” said TransGroup director Rao Omar Hashim Khan.
