Tottenham Hotspur extends association with Kumho Tyre

The contract was first signed back in 2016 and since then the partnership has been a successful one.

The Premier League club, Tottenham Hotspur has announced an extension with Kumho Tyre as the club’s official Tyre Partner. The contract was executed through a signing ceremony at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Namhwa Cho, Executive Vice President of Sales – Europe, Kumho Tyre and senior vice president of global marketing at Kumho Tire Co., Inc, Tony Gang-seung Lee were present at this ceremony along with club ambassadors Ledley King and Michael Dawson, Operations and Finance Director, Matthew Collecott and other club officials.

The deal will consist of Kumho Tyre to carry on its important presence on the in-stadium LED advertising structure and will also support awareness of the company through the club’s worldwide reach.

The contract was first signed back in 2016 and the association has been proved beneficial for both entities. This renewal of the deal with Kumho Tyre will continue to honour the club’s famous matchday player mascot programme which was changed in an award-winning digital offering for young fans during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The agreement will also see Tottenham Hotspur support Kumho Tyre’s Corporate Social Responsibility programmes by making player-related content that showcases the safety of the tyres.

Senior vice president, Kumho Tyre, Tony Lee expressed his excitement and mentioned that he is thrilled with the announcement of the contract extension.

“We will use this extended partnership to enhance our brand recognition in global markets including the United Kingdom and engage in efforts to turn our business into a premium brand.”
