Global sports merchandising giant Fanatics has further expanded its growing influence in football collectibles after securing an exclusive long-term trading card and sticker partnership with the Football Association, beginning in 2031.
The agreement will see Fanatics-owned collectibles brand Topps become the exclusive producer of England national team trading cards, sticker collections, and trading card games across both the men’s and women’s teams. The deal grants Fanatics worldwide rights to use official England team branding, player likenesses, and intellectual property across physical and digital collectible products.
Under the agreement, Topps is expected to launch a broad range of England-themed products tied to major international competitions, including FIFA World Cups, UEFA European Championships, and women’s global tournaments. Premium offerings featuring autographs, match-worn memorabilia cards, limited-edition releases, and digital collectibles are also expected to play a central role in the portfolio.
The latest deal deepens Fanatics’ existing relationship with the FA. Since 2018, Fanatics has operated as the governing body’s official retail and e-commerce partner, managing England merchandise sales and retail operations at Wembley Stadium. That partnership was renewed in 2024 before expanding into the trading card and collectibles category.
The agreement comes during a period of rapid global growth for Fanatics and Topps in football licensing. Earlier this year, Fanatics secured exclusive FIFA trading card and sticker rights from 2031, ending Panini’s long-standing association with FIFA tournaments.
Topps has rapidly assembled one of the strongest football licensing portfolios in the industry, with exclusive partnerships spanning FIFA, the Premier League, Bundesliga, UEFA club competitions, and Major League Soccer. Beyond football, the company also holds major trading card rights agreements across the Formula 1, National Hockey League, and WWE.
