Timex India launches a new ad campaign featuring Gujarat Titans players

The brand-new TVC by Timex India features GT players, Wriddhiman Saha, Rahul Tewatia, and Shubman Gill.

The multinational watch brand, Timex India has launched a new ad campaign-“Timex- Choice of the Titans”, featuring players from the Indian Premier League (IPL) team, Gujarat Titans (GT). The campaign’s main intention is to create a strong buzz among cricket and watch aficionados, emphasizing the alliance and showcasing the brand’s position as a leading watch brand in the country.

The TVC features Wriddhiman Saha, Rahul Tewatia, and Shubman Gill. In this new advertisement, Both Saha and Tewatia are playing a video game, and Gill passionately focuses on practising batting skills. The scene ends with an interesting statement passed by Rahul saying, “Aaj time waste karega tabhi toh kal hundred marega.” The message that the entity wants to deliver is that when champions choose to waste time, it is only to get it right. This also includes that the champions chose to do what drives them to push the boundaries, with their trusted timekeeper Timex by their side. It makes no difference whether the rest of the world regards it as a waste of time; what counts is that they are doing what they believe in.

Speaking on this association, Deepak Chhabra, Managing Director Timex Group India, said, “We are thrilled to unveil our latest campaign, ‘Timex – Choice of The Titans,’ in association with Gujarat Titans. Looking at the team’s thrilling performance on ground, we are even more stoked about the success of the campaign among our fans and followers. We look forward to this collaboration with Gujarat Titans and an action-packed season ahead. Timex has a long-standing reputation as a trusted timekeeper, and the Gujarat Titans epitomizes excellence in cricket. We are geared up to increase our consumer base countrywide through this association.”

The brand new TVC is being telecast via Sony TV, with “India’s Best Dancer”, and English news channels. Other than television, the ad will also be aired on Jio streaming and Radio City. It will also be advertised through outdoor billboards in ten cities and Timex India’s social media handles.

Currently, the watch company is serving as the official timekeeper of the Ahmedabad-based outfit.
