Manchester Super Giants have expanded their commercial portfolio during the ongoing edition of The Hundred by announcing a partnership with global intelligence and business services company Firstsource.
The agreement marks another significant sponsorship addition for the franchise in its inaugural season under the ownership of the RP-Sanjiv Goenka (RPSG) Group, further reinforcing the club’s growing commercial ambitions in English cricket.
As part of the partnership, Firstsource will feature its branding on the playing shirts of both the men’s and women’s teams for the remainder of the tournament. The collaboration also brings together two organisations within the wider RPSG ecosystem, with Manchester Super Giants representing the group’s latest investment in global franchise cricket and Firstsource serving as one of its flagship listed companies.
Headquartered in Mumbai, Firstsource is a global provider of AI-powered business transformation and intelligent operations, serving clients across banking, financial services, healthcare, communications, media, technology and retail. Through the partnership, the company aims to enhance its brand visibility among cricket audiences in the UK while aligning with one of the world’s fastest-growing franchise competitions.
Commenting on the partnership, Vinay Chopra, Chief Executive, RPSG Sports, said, “We’re delighted to welcome Firstsource as an official partner of Manchester Super Giants in The Hundred. This partnership reflects the strength and ambition of our wider group, and it’s brilliant to see that translate into a deeper commercial relationship with the Super Giants family.”
Ritesh Idnani, CEO and Managing Director, Firstsource, added, “Cricket, like business, is ultimately about making the right decisions under pressure and executing them consistently. That’s what separates good teams from great ones. At Firstsource, we call it Intelligence That Operates. It’s why this partnership with Manchester Super Giants feels like such a natural fit. We look forward to supporting the team and connecting with fans through one of the most exciting competitions in world cricket.”
The partnership arrives at a crucial stage of The Hundred campaign. After five matches, Manchester Super Giants’ women’s team sits third in the standings, while the men’s side occupies fifth place. With three group-stage fixtures remaining against Welsh Fire, Southern Brave and Sunrisers Leeds, both teams remain firmly in contention for a place in the knockout stages.
Off the field, the agreement continues Manchester Super Giants’ rapid commercial expansion following the announcement of Zoopla as the franchise’s inaugural front-of-shirt sponsor. The latest deal highlights RPSG Group’s strategy of leveraging synergies across its business portfolio while strengthening the commercial foundations of its growing global sports network, which also includes Lucknow Super Giants, Durban’s Super Giants and Mohun Bagan Super Giant.
