The Tennis Premier League (TPL), India’s premier professional tennis competition, has developed multiple associations for season six, which is set to be held at the Cricket Club of India (CCI) in Mumbai from December 3 to 8.
TPL’s roster of partners includes Unibic as a snack partner, Ola as travel partner, Sportwalk as a content partner, Art Media as an outdoor partner, Peak Performance as a physiotherapy partner, and Sofitel as a hospitality partner.
Unibic, headquartered in Bangalore, is well-known for its rich and flavourful cookies, which compete in the luxury cookie market. Unibic is one of India’s largest FMCG brands, with over 40 product varieties and a diverse portfolio of creative offerings.
Meanwhile, Sportwalk is a sports-focused creative, media, marketing, and merchandise start-up located in Chennai, whereas Art Media is one of the leading businesses in the advertising agencies.
Moreover, Peak Performance Physiotherapy is a sports and musculoskeletal rehabilitation centre in Bangalore, and Sofitel is a luxury hotel brand owned by Accor, Europe’s largest hospitality brand.
In addition to these brands, TPL has also forged deals with several top brands for the upcoming season. These include Clear Premium Water, Jeep, Binnys Jewellery, The Bridge, SVAR Gems, Paramount Wires & Cables, Dhoomimal Gallery, and Yonex.
The league’s brand value will undoubtedly rise as a result of these agreements, which will also support the expansion and advancement of tennis in the nation.
The sixth edition of the TPL is set to include an all-star roster that includes veteran Rohan Bopanna and current India No. 1 Sumit Nagal, along with world-renowned players such as reigning US Open Doubles champion Max Purcell, France’s Hugo Gaston, and Armenia’s Elina Avanesyan, all competing for the highly regarded top prize for their respective franchises.
The first five days will see action from all eight teams. The top four teams with the most points won will compete in the semifinals on December 8, which will also include the final.
