Tennis Channel signs broadcasting deal with ATP

The Tennis Channel has won the race to become the broadcasting partner of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) in the United States of America. This deal will see Tennis Channel replacing ESPN as the main broadcaster in the continent for ATP events from 2021.

Tennis Channel has been broadcasting tennis tournaments in the past, but this new deal allows them to televise all ATP Masters 1000 events in the continent without any competition.

ATP events of various age groups will be broadcasted on the Tennis Channel. It is a significant deal for Tennis Channel since they already have the rights to broadcast events of the Women’s Tennis Association.

As per this deal with ATP media, the Tennis Channel will be using the ATP Masters 1000 events to promote its on-air talent.

Along with broadcast channels, the ATP events will also be available on the digital platform of the Tennis Channel, while the print media (the Tennis magazine) and digital newsletter (the Baseline) of the media organization will also provide coverage for the events.
